FAQ

Questions about prenatal support

Everything you need to know about our prenatal services.

We recommend starting around 28-32 weeks to have time for 2-3 prenatal visits before your due date. However, we can accommodate later starts if needed. Some clients start even earlier in their second trimester.

Prenatal visits typically last 90 minutes to 2 hours. We cover birth education, practice comfort techniques, work on your birth plan, address your questions and concerns, and build our relationship so you feel comfortable with me during labor.

Absolutely! We encourage partners to attend. At least one session focuses specifically on partner coaching so they feel confident supporting you during labor.

Yes! All our birth doula packages include 2-3 prenatal visits plus unlimited text/phone support. Prenatal preparation is a core part of how we support you.

Addressing fears is a big part of what we do. Many clients have specific concerns—fear of pain, past trauma, medical anxiety. We create a safe space to discuss these and develop coping strategies.

Yes, we offer prenatal-only packages for families who want preparation but not labor support. This includes birth education, birth plan creation, and partner coaching.
